A Summer Wedding At West Street Vineyard
Last Saturday’s wedding with Yasmin and Lee was one I’ve been so excited to be a part of for a LONG time. I always love when my bookings come off the back of word of mouth recommendations, and these two came to me after meeting me at Yasmin’s brothers wedding last year.
Their day begun at The White Hart in Coggeshall, which has had a recent update making the room that Yasmin and her girls were getting ready in incredibly light, bright and airy. With the ceremony not until 3.30 in the afternoon, the girls had a nice leisurely morning (and afternoon!) to prepare, and it was such a relaxed atmosphere when I arrived. Of course, there is always the last minute panic when time starts to run out, but everyone made it to the church in time. Yasmin was greeted at the church door by their son Oscar who was so happy to see his mum after a night apart.
The ceremony took place at the beautiful St Peter Ad Vincular Church which is so light and bright indoors, after vows and readings guests were also treated to a song performed by friends too, which everyone loved.
After the ceremony we moved onto West Street Vineyard for a relaxed reception with an afternoon tea buffet for guests to enjoy. This spot really was a perfect choice, with vines to explore, a ping pong table for the older kids (and adults!) and even a little park for Oscar and the youngsters to make use of before they got to go crazy on the dance floor.
The afternoon ceremony certainly set the precedent for this relaxed celebration, the vineyard provided a stunning backdrop even on a balmy cloudy day and guests were still enjoying the outdoors as I left for the evening. Below are a few of my favourites from their big day…
