Somewhere between newborn and first birthday, babies become the most fun little people to photograph. Studio sessions for babies aged 3–9 months. Rolling, sitting, standing or anywhere in between.
Whether you missed the newborn stage or just want to capture what's happening right now, this is the session for you.
Between three and nine months babies change almost weekly. The gummy grins, the wobbly sits, the chubby rolls that won't be there forever! Every stage in this window is completely worth capturing before it's gone.
The studio is set up entirely around this age. A soft rug for tummy time and rolling, tactile toys to keep curious hands busy, and fluffy stools to practise pulling up on. Whether your baby is a wobbly sitter, a confident roller or already hauling themselves upright at every opportunity, I'll work with whatever stage they're at. And there's always time for some beautiful shots with parents, because you should be in these photos too.

Anywhere between 3 and 9 months works well. At 3–5 months babies are lovely and smiley. At 6–8 months they're sitting up and full of personality. I'd always suggest booking a little ahead of when you want to shoot so you have your pick of dates.
Simple and neutral works best! A plain babygrow, soft knits or just a nappy for younger babies. I have a studio wardrobe you're welcome to borrow if you haven't got anything suitable.
Don't worry. I build plenty of time into every session for feeding, cuddles and nappy changes. An unsettled baby at the start almost always turns around once they've had a chance to settle into the space. There is always time for milk, snacks and extra cuddles.
Absolutely. Family shots are always a lovely addition and siblings are always welcome.
I always allow an hour for these sessions, but babies may start to become tired after about 45 minutes.
