The first days and weeks with a new baby are a blur of love, exhaustion and wonder and they pass so fast it almost doesn't feel real. A newborn session isn't just about beautiful photographs. It's an hour or two of quiet, where someone else takes care of everything. You'll leave with images that show you exactly how tiny and perfect they were. A newborn session is simply a way of holding onto it a little longer.

Rather stay close to home in those early days?
In-home sessions have a beautiful documentary quality to them. Less posed, more real. Think baby snuggled on your chest, siblings piling in for a cuddle. Surrounded by the familiarity of home.

I'll follow your family's lead and capture the quiet, tender moments that make those first weeks so special. And please, don't tidy up on my account. The lived-in bits are often the best bits!

My purpose-built garden studio in Lawford is warm, neutral and quietly cosy.  Designed so that nothing distracts from the star of the show. Soft props and wraps in natural tones keep everything timeless, with the focus entirely on your baby.

Sessions are completely unhurried, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and nappy changes. I have outfit options for baby and mum if needed, and supply all the blankets and wraps to keep baby cosy. Siblings are always welcome, and parents are always included too.
