A New Years Eve Winter Wedding at Woodhall Manor
Seren and James were the first couple I met with after my own engagement last year, so chatting with them about their day was extra exciting, as they were also feeling all of the same excitement that I was too. They’d got engaged whilst away with friends in Lapland over Christmas 2015. And on their return immediately set to the task at hand and got planning the big day.
Choosing New Years Eve pretty much guarantees the best party of the year, and I’ve loved catching up with these two to hear the plans. Picking Woodhall Manor meant they had a cosy space for their guests to enjoy and ample grounds to explore too for photos (which we definitely utilised!). But what was most fun was just being around them. Seren is probably the funniest person I’ve ever met, and that just radiates and makes everyone around so happy!
Their wedding day had a art deco feel with Big Hair, sparkle and glamour. A hillarious game of Mr and Mrs (with some revealing answers!!) and personal touches for their guests in the form of a hand drawn portrait by Seren’s primary school students.
