Saturday saw the DIY extravaganza that was Heather and Paul’s wedding come together at Wivenhoe House. For months Heather had been sharing her crafty projects via the Bridal Chatter facebook group, from her customised shoes, handmade table plan, right down to jam jars dipped in glitter to house tea lights later in the evening.
They had planned a late ceremony, and so decided to see each other before the ceremony (often called a “first look”). This was a covert operation, where the groomsmen sneaked Heather out the hotel whilst distracting the arriving guests attention! It did mean she had covered up in a bed sheet! But it was all worth it to see Heather and Paul’s reaction’s to each other all dressed up and ready to become husband and wife. Heather mentioned that she felt a lot calmer after seeing Paul beforehand too, and it made her excited to get to the ceremony rather than anxious.
Just before dinner I took the new Mr and Mrs Kinzett off for a few minutes to wander the grounds of The Essex University. And I just loved this image below…
