Angela and Steve’s wedding really was one of a kind. I’ve never been to a Chihuahua themed wedding before, let alone a lime green Chihuahua themed wedding! Their detailing was just spot on, with Angie’s favourite dogs adorning crackers full of surprises for each guest, and taking centre stage as the cake toppers. She isn’t allowed one in real life, and so this really was her only opportunity! The venue just looked amazing, as did the newlyweds too in navy blue for the boys and green for the girls. Angela even channelled her inner hollywood movie star with ruby red lips and a vintage updo.
It’s hard to believe on a day like today that Saturday was a complete washout, that it was actually like a monsoon and that myself, Angela, Steve and all their guests nearly got stranded at Vaulty Manor because the grounds began to flood under the rainfall! But it did happen, and as much as I was dissapointed for Angela and Steve I do think they took it like troopers and just worked with it rather than against it. In fact I even remember Steve saying to me that ‘if it was going to rain, it may as well do it properly!’ and so it did! These two are such fun, and really good sports. It was Angela’s idea to wade into the flooded driveway of the venue for a few photographs, and she was soon followed by the groomsmen (after much bullying from the guests!) who all took a paddle, for a few photographs too.
It wasn’t hard to pick a picture to sum up their wedding day, it just had to involve the weather so here is their sneak peek!
