Saturday’s wedding was H-O-T! We’d all spent the week refreshing weather forecasts and worrying about rain, thunder and lightening. But when Saturday arrived we were blessed with nothing but bright, hot and glorious sunshine all day long. I met both Samantha and Carl at The Angel Hotel in Lavenham where they were getting ready separately but just down the hall from one another. This meant I was able to get some great photos of them both during the morning, the boys however didn’t have a fan in their room so they were really feeling the heat!
After the boys left for Preston Priory Barn, I took a walk with Samantha and her dad around Lavenham for a few photos surrounded by beautiful historic and quaint tudor buildings. Then their cars arrived, and I really shouldn’t have expected anything less as Carl’s car obsession shone through. The girls got to ride in style in a Cadillac and a Mustang!
After their ceremony (and a last minute panic when the groom and best man left the rings at the hotel!) Guests enjoyed games of giant jenga, giant connect 4, hula-hooping and cones of popcorn in the courtyard. They were then treated to a tasty afternoon tea with some really delicious mini cakes (we tried them… just incase!)
When it came to picking just once sneak peek, I struggled! So I’ve got two for you today. One to satisfy Carl’s love of Cars (and Samantha of course!) and one of just the two of them…
