So Saturday saw the day that Lydia and Jamie became Mr and Mrs Bearman at Marks Hall Estate in Coggeshall. After a morning worrying about the weather (we were told to expect a monsoon!) the day actually couldn’t have been more perfect if it had tried. The sun shone brightly, at some points it was even a bit too hot! But what it did mean was that Lydia and Jamie could have their ceremony outdoors, surrounded by the gorgeous gardens at Marks Hall, under the gazeebo at the end of the garden.
As a surprise, Jamie had arranged for Lydia’s primary school class to come along and sing a song during the ceremony, which was just a beautiful moment for everyone there. The rest of the day was filled with sunshine, laughter and lots and lots of fun. I managed to grab Lydia and Jamie for a few minutes to take them off for a walk with their dog Bertie, who had also scrubbed up for the occasion with his very own teal bowtie!
