We all know how much I adore a visit to the gorgeous West Mersea beach huts. But those pastel beach huts at sunset on the hottest day of the year is definitely something else!
Lauren and Ash had seen past engagement shoots on my blog at West Mersea, and although they hadn’t been there before they knew they wanted those as a backdrop. What we failed to think about was just how busy the beach would be!
I decided to walk them to the furthest part of the beach to get started with their shoot by easing them in with some games where there wasn’t anyone else around. Then we begun walking back towards the huts, and as the evening went on the beach became less busy too. At some points it actually felt like we were on holiday and not just on Mersea Island!
These two aren’t tying the knot until next July, but I loved hearing their plans yesterday and I’m sure that its going to be here sooner than we know (which is super scary seeing as I get married the month before!).
Here’s a few of my favourites from our shoot yesterday…
