So lets talk about last Saturday… it was by far the hottest wedding day I’ve ever photographed! And my very first in the Cotswolds which was already a total feast for the eyes.
Becky and Jason chose to get wed at Lapstone Barn in Chipping Campden which provided the perfect backdrop to their eclectic wedding decor. Colour was everywhere – in the paper lanterns hung from the ceiling, the incredible tropical vibe florals provided by Becky’s bridesmaid Nicola and the beautiful stationery designed by the bride herself.
With nine bridesmaids, I’d expected a chaotic bridal prep, but when I arrived everything was calm, collected and running to time which meant Becky got to the venue (driven by her Dad) without any stress at all.
After a beautiful ceremony the newlyweds (who have the best surname – Mitchell!) headed outside into the heat once more for an epic confetti line, canapes and drinks.
Later on guests were surprised during the meal with Creation singing, pulling people to their feet and dancing between the tables to get the party started.
