Yesterday evening I met up with Georgie and Adam for their engagement shoot in West Bergholt. We chose the spot specifically for its Bluebells which literally carpet the floor when they start to bloom.
Having never been to Hilltop Woods before they were both blown away by how pretty it looked once we made our way inside the woods in the early evening light.
During the shoot we also stumbled across a huge patch of wild garlic too, which got us all hungry! So after much posing, chatting weddings and exploring among the bluebells we followed the route around to start heading back.
Being the photographer I am, all through the woods I kept spotting ample opportunities for photos which led me to take the wrong path out of the woods! We were soon squelching through mud and searching on Adam’s phone for a footpath home!
Luckily for us (or me!) that slight detour led us to the hugest filed of yellow rape seed where we finished up the shoot… all before it got too dark! phew!
Georgie and Adam, like everyone were nervous about having their photos taken, and not the hugest fans of being in front of the camera, but I think they did a fab job and soon came out of their shells for this. Below are a few of my favourites form our time together.
