A Rose Gold Christmas Wedding at The Athenaeum
On Saturday Faye and Paul tied the knot at The Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds. After a fairly long engagement which saw them move house and have their son Monty, the wedding itself took a year to plan and the best part was that both their children got to be a part of their big day.
Being so close to Christmas I loved seeing the theme of their day. Bridesmaids had gorgeous rose gold and sequin dresses (matching Fayes shoes and the flower girls handbags and hairbands). Deep red burgundy lilies in the bouquets brought a richness to the day and complemented the mens blue suits with burnt orange ties and pocket squares.
We managed to chase the light on the day by heading over to the Abbey Gardens for photos soon after the ceremony where many Christmas shoppers wished the newlyweds congratulations as we headed to use the ruins in the background. Later, Paul looked on proudly as Faye took the stage to sing to him, and their guests went wild!
Here’s some highlights from their big day…
