Claire and Steve booked with me quite some time ago now, for their wedding this October at Gaynes Park. But in the interim I’ve had loads of fun keeping in touch with Claire via the power of instagram! I knew when the time did roll around for their engagement shoot, they’d be after somewhere colourful.
Having seen past shoots at West Mersea Beach Huts Claire become besotted with them and so thats where we went! I realise I am here so often with my couples but I honestly could never get bored of it, there is just something so lovely about wandering up and down that beach and the sight of those pastel beach huts never gets boring. It turned out that Claire and Steve had picked the busiest day of the year for the beach though as families flocked to it after school in the heatwave. So to start things off we headed past the huts to a quieter part of the beach to get them aquaninted with my camera.
By the time we walked back the beach was thinning out, and we got plenty of opportunities to use those aforementioned beach huts in the background of their photos.
It was hard to choose just one photo today, but I finally settled on this one to tide them over until the rest of their photos are ready to view very soon…
