Yesterday I Charlotte, Jake and I met in Shotley for their engagement shoot. It had been a strange day weather-wise, with bright sunshine one moment and then heavy dark downpours the next! Naturally, I messaged Charlotte to check if she still wanted to go ahead, worried that they wouldn’t want photos looking like a drowned rat! However, when Charlotte arrived in Shotley to bright blue skies we decided we’d risk it!
Charlotte and Jake have been together for seven years now, and when thinking of somewhere picturesque for their engagement photos this riverside walk near Charlotte’s parents home was their first thought. Although it was drizzly and chilly, I can imagine in the sunshine its lovely to stroll along there! But we managed to avoid the worst of the rain and really utilised the beach and woodland on our route.
These two are getting married at the gorgeous Easton Grange next March, and in the meantime have lots of exciting things on the cards including travelling in Australia and hopefully moving house too! They’re definitely not doing anything by halves!
