When December rolls around I know its time to start pulling this blog post together and I always have so much fun looking back at the ‘out-takes’ that my second shooters and I capture throughout the year. We often stand in position so one of us can test the light, see what a location looks like in picture and sometimes just because we’ve caught someone in a funny position!
This year I was joined mostly by Gemma, and also had Sally and Sophie along for a few weddings too. These ladies all provide some much needed support on a wedding day, covering groom preparations, helping to fetch guests for group photos, hold flowers, pin buttonholes, hold umbrellas and many more jobs they probably didn’t expect came under the title of ‘second shooter’ (Sally even became a dog walker!) Â But I know I couldn’t do my job so well without them in tow.
Here’s a few from the behind the scenes we took this year, so enjoy your peek into the life of a wedding photographer!
Gemma is becoming a pro at the veil shot!
I even had the chauffeur helping me at Robyn + Matt’s wedding!
My snapchat face isn’t attractive!
The highest I’ve been for a group photo!
Climbing out of the pond at Woodhall Manor, incredibly thankful that I didn’t fall in!
Remember what I was saying about funny positions?!
Thanks for the fun 2016!!! 😀
