Looking out of the window today I can honestly say we were truly blessed on Meera and Shane’s wedding day last Friday! They chose to get married at the beautiful Fanhams Hall in Ware, Hertfordshire and when we arrived a chilly morning had turned into a sunny day, perfect for those amazing grounds. The whole day went without a hitch, and even though the two of them were slightly nervous before the ceremony (nothing that wasn’t calmed with champagne and beer!) the rest of the day they were both beaming from ear to ear.
Straight after the ceremony, I whisked the newlyweds via golf buggy down to the Japanese Tea House in the grounds for wedding photos of the two of them in the sunshine. We made use of lots of Fanhams Hall’s quirky sculptures and surroundings, were accompanied by ducks quacking in the background. After their couple photographs we headed back to the hotel for them to greet their guests and we carried on with group photographs, finishing just in time before the monsoon started outdoors! This didn’t last long, as guests began to get seated for dinner the sun shone again and a beautiful evening presented itself. Shane, and his best men made hilarious speeches, poking fun at each other, and Meera also spoke too, a newer tradition I’m beginning to love at weddings!
Looking back through their photos, this one immediately stood out, I love how happy and relaxed they are, after becoming husband and wife just minutes earlier….
