Last Friday I headed up to my favourite photo location to meet Meera and Shane for their engagement shoot. West Mersea Beach Huts are so beautiful, I go on about it all the time! But if like these two you’re after a colourful backdrop whatever the time of year then they certainly are the best choice.
Like most of my couples, Meera and Shane were particularly nervous and uncomfortable with having their pictures taken and so I told them that this experience would be the perfect opportunity to have a practice run before the big day next month. We spent most of the time chatting about how they met (eyes met across the room where Shane gave a presentation whilst working at the job centre together!) and of course their plans for their wedding, which is taking place at the beautiful Fanhams Hall in Ware. In between we took pictures, played some silly games and generally kept things light and fun. There really is nothing scary about the engagement shoot part of the process, its just a pwerfect opportunity for us all to get to know each other much better.
I have loads of photos of the two of them that I just love, but for their sneak peek I decided to choose this one, towards the end of the shoot where I notice they had become much more comfortable in front of the camera.
