Yesterday we experienced every bit of weather you could imagine, rain, sunshine, cloud, thunder, and even lightening! But it didn’t wipe the smiles from Josh and Kirsty’s faces once. Both of them took the day in their stride, and when the heavens opened after their ceremony they just decided to wait it out indoors until the rain cloud passed over and they could then run out to their vintage Rolls Royce for their confetti photo.
Their reception took place at Crabbs Barn, and guests arrived to bright sunshine, a relief after the downpour at church. So we decided to get started with group photos. Just as I pressed the shutter on the very last group shot, the thunder roared and the rain fell. Their wedding was absolutely perfectly timed!
Today Kirsty and Josh (the new Mr and Mrs Congdon) have jetted off to Italy for a mini-moon, but I wanted to upload their sneak peek anyway, I’m sure they’ll get the chance to check in whilst at the airpot. I love this shot, the sunshine, their smiley faces… it’s 100% them.
