Sydoni and Pete’s wedding day arrived on Saturday along with the threat of a day full of thunderstorms and rain. Whilst getting ready with Sydoni and her family in the morning, we did encounter one of those big black rain clouds and a torrential downpour, but lucky for us after that point the rest of the day was filled with sunshine.
The new Mr and Mrs Dixon had chosen to get married in church followed by a beautiful reception at The Barrandov Opera. These two (and an army of helpers!) had transformed the already stunning venue with an abundance of props and decorations to really put a stamp on their big day. The theme was an english tea party with a mix of music inspiration, all day people were commenting on just how amazing it looked and their hard work really did pay off. It was a visual feast, and kept their guests entertained all day long.
After their tea party wedding breakfast (which involved each table receiving a giant teapot shaped chocolate cake!) I whisked Sydoni and Pete back out into the early evening sunshine for a few photographs before their first dance.

And there was no way I could get away with leaving Sydoni’s son’s out of the action! Here is Sainte, who also did a brilliant speech after dinner!
