Shelley and Jon booked me just short of two months before their wedding day. I’d met Shelley at the Leigh-On-sea Essex Vintage Wedding Fair, and as she spoke to me about her plans for their day I just knew that their wedding was my kind of wedding! Suddenly, the big day is tomorrow, and I’m so excited to get into London and see all of their plans come together for their country fete themed day.
Last month we met up for their engagement shoot, in a location I’d never been to. When they told me that there were dinosaur statues at Crystal Palace Park I was a little unsure of exactly how this would work! But when I arrived, it all made sense. These statues date back to the Victorian Era, and used to be a big crowd puller, with friends and lovers meeting to eat dinner beside them lit up by candle light. As soon as I arrived, stood Shelley and Jon in front of them bathed in a little late summer sun, I just instantly loved these shots!
Our shoot continued around the park, visiting lots of the landmarks including a sphinx! Stopping only for Shelley to be praised for her beautiful choice of shoes by complete strangers (who stopped her for photos!). Of course, I also couldn’t resist a picture of those shoes, so they along with many others are here for you to see today.
