Yesterday saw the day Laura and Lewis became Mr and Mrs Chalk at Yaxley Hall in Suffolk. They couldn’t have chosen a more perfect day for their outdoor ceremony, which took place amongst the beautiful grounds in the gothic chapel. Laura and Lewis’ story is a incredibly romantic one. They met after moving out to the Dominican Republic to teach, and during their new life out there became closer and closer. Since then they have travelled the world together, and a trip to California aboard the Queen Mary Cruise Ship is where Lewis made his sweet proposal under a huge christmas tree.
These two booked me well over a year ago to photograph their wedding, since then there has been huge changes for them both, not least moving back home and buying their first house together all whilst organising a wedding! Saturday was truly beautiful, and I just know this is the start of great things for them both.
