A Summer Wedding at Houchins
I feel like Sarah and Jason may be one of my longest booked couples…not only due to coronavirus forcing postponement last year, but because they booked a year in advance of their original date too! So for their wedding to finally take place this past Wednesday was just a delight and I am so happy I got to be a part of it.
Everything about their day made me feel lucky! They had the loveliest vicar in church that I had ever met, and who was just very accommodating towards me as a photographer. All the rain of the past weeks had made the landscaping in the grounds of Houchins grow like crazy which made for a beautiful backdrop (and incredible smells!). They had also booked many of my wedding supplier recommendations too so I was just part of a fab team where everything worked well together.
Above all though, Jason and Sarah are just the greatest couple too. Their wedding day took place 14 years to the day of their very first date, it was laid back with fun touches and a very friendly group of family and friends to boot. Below are the highlights from their big day…
