Katie and Mike chose to get married at Wivenhoe House and chose the best day of October to do so! We finally had a bit of sunshine, which meant we not only got to make good use of the grounds but the guests also got to have drinks and canapés outside.
These two had thought of every detail and brought together some odd combinations too that really made their day unique to them. The boys all dressed with different colour ties and socks as a nod to Mike’s mum’s love of Donny Osmond! There were disco balls, sparkly table cloths and illustrations of their dogs (by Katie’s bridesmaid Emma Block). And Katie had the sparkliest jacket proudly displaying her new name!
Overall it was a feast for the eyes and a fab wedding to end my 2019 wedding season on before heading off on my maternity leave. Oh and those brownies tasted even better than they looked!! 😀
