Last year I launched a new photography service dedicated especially to women. in the beginning it was open only to my current brides-to-be and offered secretly via their enquiry pack. But now, with Valentines day just around the corner I thought it would be great to open it to all. I’ve put together a fantastic offer especially for valentines day, which you can purchase yourself or perhaps purchase on your wife, fiancee or girlfriends behalf. Before I get into the details of the offer though let me explain what this is all about…
“Be You Be Beautiful” is my boudoir photography side-project. It’s about femininity, natural light, being pampered and feeling empowered. It’s a chance for women to have a photo shoot that celebrates themselves, their body and their state of mind. All whilst being guided into the perfect poses for their body type with beautiful hair and make-up to boot!
Boudoir photography has got a bad reputation in the past, many assume its explicit, erotic and just plain “page three”. However, the new wave of Boudoir couldn’t be further from the truth as it celebrates all that it is to feel and look beautiful. My style is far softer, romantic and carefree.
The photography sessions themselves can take place in a location of your choice (Travel included up to 50 miles from Colchester). I personally recommend a beautiful hotel room (perhaps your bridal suite) or an uncluttered and well lit bedroom. You have the option to add in professional hair and make-up (by a female artist) and can bring along up to three different outfit changes. These sessions are easy going, there will only be the three of us in the room and you can bring along your ipod loaded with your favourite music to set the mood. There is also always a bottle of champagne and some nibbles on the side too!
Once your hair and make-up is done, you’ll be looking your very best and your confidence will come naturally, after the first few shots you’ll relax straight into the shoot and I ensure by the time you leave you’ll be feeling empowered and beautiful.
I recommend lingere that is soft and romantic in pastel colours, steer away from black and red and bring along an abundance of accessories to use as well. Perhaps a sparkly boloero, some faux fur, chunky cardigans, cosy socks or your favourite pair of shoes. All of these items add that extra something special to the images and help to create a story too. What a great excuse to go shopping!
Your photos can be made up into albums, prints, wall art or digital files to be kept by you or perhaps given to your husband/fiance/boyfriend as a gift for valentines day. Imagine looking back on photos like these in 40 years time and seeing how beautiful you looked. It’s the perfect self-preservation project!
So onto the Valentines Day special offer…
