Last Friday I went to Hylands Park to meet up with Abigail and Richard and their little boys William and Harry for their engagement photos/family session in the sunshine.
Like many parents of young children, Abbie and Richard have been worried about how William will react to photos on their wedding day, and so were keen for me to meet him first so that come the wedding day we’ll be great friends, and I’ll hopefully be able to capture him in some family photos. Well, the great news is that me and William bonded over his favourite colour, animals with stripes and running really fast… so I’m onto a winner on the big day!
We started the session with the family photos and after about 10-15 minutes, we left them with Nanny so that Abbie and Richard could see how I’ll be working with them on the wedding day too. We took a short walk up to Hylands House and the gardens behind it chatting about their plans between photos – even learning how they met (way back in school!).
Overall we had great fun out in the sunshine, the boys had a short session, but we got exactly what we needed before they got fed up of my camera and I left them all enjoying the sunshine with a delicious picnic!
Here’s a few of my favourites to tide them over until the rest are ready to view….
