Yesterday I met Madeleine and Jim at Marks Hall Gardens and Aboretum for their engagement shoot. It was a really overcast day, in fact that morning I’d been out walking the dog and it was dark because of the black cloud! But rain wasn’t forecast until later in the day so I had my fingers crossed all would be ok.
When I arrived there was a little drizzle in the air, but the cloud had brightened up too which was a bonus. The even better thing was that the undecided weather meant there was no-one else in the gardens except for us, which meant Madeleine and Jim didn’t have to worry about posing in front of lots of people!
Like everyone… Madeleine and Jim were nervous about their shoot, but even so they soon settled in and looked comfortable in front of the camera. In fact, I think they look really natural and they really let go and had fun by joining in all of my silly games to get some smiles from them.
