Tomorrow is Charlotte and Jake’s big day, and to get us all in the mood and excited for my second wedding of 2016, I wanted to share some images from their engagement shoot with you today.
Their engagement shoot took place last October, and we managed to pick a really drizzly and chilly afternoon! But the location they chose along the river in Shotley provided us with plenty of cover during the heaviest downpours under the canopy of trees. Despite the drizzle Charlotte and Jake soon settled into their shoot, and after a few nerves at the start it soon become more natural and less intimidating to be in front of the camera.
Tomorrow their wedding day promises to be a total treat. Not only have they chosen Easton Grange to celebrate at but Charlotte is tackling the task of baking and decorating their cake too. She runs Beautiful Buns Cakery alongside her day job, and has relished the occasion and challenge of their own wedding cake. I’m so excited to see what she has produced. I’ll be back next week after the bank holiday with a selection of their wedding images to share with you, but for now lets take a look back at their engagement shoot…
