It’s a year to the day today since Luka and Ryan became Mr and Mrs Hales on the beautiful Osea Island near Maldon in Essex. I still think back to this day and have to pinch myself to realise it was all real as Osea is just the most incredible little island. I could have taken Luka and Ryan off for hours for pictures, and I was lucky that they indulged me on the day and let me whisk them away for much longer than I normally would have done. The day itslef was incredibly laid back and relaxed with a small but fun gathering of friends and family who all stayed over on the island.
It’s been a year of change for these two who have since moved back on land, and are no longer managing the day to day running of Osea. However, they have certainly made history as the first couple to legally wed there! Here is what they’ve been up to since their big day…

These Are Our Favourite Photos Because….
The first picture is a favourite of ours as this was after the ceremony when the nerves had settled and we could spend some time alone together, including Harry who didn’t leave our side for much of the day (apart from when the food came out!!)
We had our gorgeous dog Harry bringing us the rings up the aisle and for a dog that is usually very bouncy and full of energy he was so good and we were so proud – he came straight to us with only a quick sniff of the flowers in the aisle on the way 🙂 makes me smile now thinking about it!
One Year On….
and we are beginning the rest of our lives together…. We have bought our first house and have both started new jobs – we couldn’t be happier in our new adventures. Harry is very happy to have his own garden although we are not too happy with his new favourite past time – digging up all the new flowers we have just planted!!
