If you follow me on Facebook you would have noticed my exciting announcement last night about a top secret project I’ve been working on since the start of 2015. Having been approached lots by wedding suppliers, and small business owners alike I have decided to launch a side business to Kerrie Mitchell Photography, totally dedicated to photographing products for small independent businesses, and arty crafty people!
Styled Product Photography is for artists, designers, illustrators, sewers, knitters, in fact any type of arty, crafty person who runs their own small business and may need some compelling images to help promote what they do. My vision is that these images will grace Etsy and Folksy shops and shine like beacons from the pages of Not On The High Street. They’ll also spruce up websites and marketing materials, help promote via Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. In fact there is no limit to where they can be used to help you spread the word about your incredible little business.
Through Styled I will photograph products for you in a stylised manner. Each set up will show off the lifestyle that your product is intended to be used in. By photographing items in situ customers can see how they may fit into their own lives and can even sell an aspiration and aesthetic directly to them. Thats why styled product shoots work so well, and produce much better results than plain white backdrop images.
To make things even easier for you busy business owners you can even post your products to me and I’ll photograph them and send them back once they are finished with. Incredible product photos without leaving the comfort of your house?! Yes please!!
