Lucy + Ben – Married! (Back Garden Sailcloth Tent Wedding)

Lucy and Ben’s wedding day was one that I don’t think I’ll ever forget! It’s not often I travel too far from Suffolk for weddings but for these two I headed up to Stratford Upon Avon to see them tie the knot.

Ben’s family have big ties to the village in which he grew up, his local church was a stones throw from the house he grew up in and the grounds of his family home are just spectacular. It was never a question as to where they would hold the wedding day,  but the way it which it took place was certainly unique.

The speeches at this wedding day were incredible. Lucy being a bit of a wordsmith, used her critic experience to critique her new husband, whilst Ben couldn’t help but rap about his new wife! Ben’s sister Carrie took on the role as ‘best man’ and along with her father and Lucy’s mum they all spoke to both embarrass and express how proud they just were of these newly-weds.

Lucy drafted in her mum to create all the details on the wedding day. From hundreds of metres to hand tied ribbon bunting, individually framed photos of each guest, a custom sweetie cart, light up dance floor signs, a faux floral hoop…. there was so much to feast your eyes on under the gorgeous sailcloth tent and it was definitely a photographers dream to capture it all for them.

Here’s a few of my favourites to tide them over for now…
