Yesterday I got to see in 2015 with a bang by photographing the wedding of Claire and Dan at the beautiful Gosfield Hall. There is something about Gosfield that lends itself so well to winter weddings, it was lovely being there surrounded by giant Christmas Trees and kept cosy indoors with huge roaring fires.
I met Claire in the morning getting ready in the stunning bridal suite, which had plenty of room for the children to play in whilst she got pampered. Their daughter Erin, was kept company by cousins Josh, Roan and Zac and all 4 of them under 5 made for lots of fun! Once everyone was ready the children all walked up the aisle along with Claire’s bridesmaids, causing dan to shed a tear (only two though! He insists!). Their ceremony was full of laughter when there was difficulty getting their rings on and it ended with singing from Dan’s sister Gillian whilst they signed the register.
Later on I managed to get them out in the cold for 20 minutes, and the fog really enhanced the winter vibes of their wedding day. Claire was incredible out in the cold, but I can assure her is was totally worth it!!
As I thought this may be the last chance that I get to indulge in Christmas I thought it only apt to use this photo for their sneak peek..
And of course, Erin deserved her very own too!
