Last Saturday Debbie and Richard tied the knot at Houchins. The day itself started off bright sunny and warm and Houchin’s was looking beautiful in the early autumn sunshine.
Arriving at the farm house after a morning of hair and make-up pampering in town, Debbie, her sister and her children got ready as Richard and his groomsmen greeted their arriving guests over at the barn.
Debbie was escorted down the aisle to Richard by her son Matt who looked incredibly proud to give his mum away, and her daughter Sarah danced up the aisle as bridesmaid too. The ceremony itself was conducted by an old friend of Debbie’s who happened to be a registrar and included two beautiful readings by each of the couples sisters.
As the ceremony came to a close the heavens opened and it rained… A LOT! However, nothing could stop the happiness from the newly weds who strided back out the marquee under umbrellas to begin celebrating with their friends and family.
The rain didn’t stick around for long and soon the sun shined back down on Houchins.
