Amy and Kieran’s wedding day has been on my calendar for such a long time! I’ve been looking forward to it for a while after I founf out a little more of their plans during their engagement shoot earlier in the year. They wanted a fun laid back day and thats exactly what they got.
I met Amy in Ipswich town centre on the morning of the big day as she and her bridesmaids had their hair and make-up done. Amy opted for a gorgeous flower crown with a few dark burgundy roses which really popped and blended well with her lip and nail colour too. Once ready, they headed to church where a nervous Kieran awaited at the top of aisle.
After an emotional ceremony and one of the longest confetti lines I’ve seen in a while! The newly weds headed onto the reception in a vintage Jaguar (which sadly sprung a petrol leak!) as guests were taken on a bus. To entertain their guests Amy and Kieran had planned a steel pan band on arrival back to Hintlesham Golf Club – which with the sunshine, sounded amazing on the deck outside the clubhouse! And after dinner, golf pro Kevin Carpenter performed a trick shot show that wowed the crowd.
These two got the balance right on their big day, plenty of entertainment for their guests, and time to mingle and chat too which ultimately made for such a carefree day.
